Hey guys, I have a hobie revolution with mirage drive which i absolutely LOVE. However, I want to upgrade to a fiberglass touring canoe so I can cover more distance and to make it easier to take out solo. I know many of you have several boats some of which dont get used anymore. Anyone either selling a used kayak or interested in the hobie? Let me know on here on email me aboveallpictures@yahoo.com

I'm confused, Daniel..you want to upgrade to a fiberglass touring canoe in one sentence and  ask for a used kayak in the next..

Or are you open to both?

I want a used fiberglass touring kayak. I really can't afford a new one! So I am asking if anyone is either selling one of theirs, or is interested in buying my sit on top.

Once a year Florida Bay Outfitters In Key Largo have a used kayak sale, they also keep a list of boats for sale throughout the year, check them out.

Juan

I am trying to get one before March Juan, Florida Bay has their huge sale in July. If I do not have one by then I will def check it out, thanks for the info!
I sold my Hobie Revolution and am now on the hunt. Again, if anyone on this site is selling a fiberglass touring yak please let me know!

Congrats on selling the Hobie! Daniel, have you looked at paddling.net classifieds?  I have found good boats for sale there:

They have a couple nice boats on there. I was going to go look at a p&h orion tomorrow but it already got sold. I will keep looking! Thanks for the link!

My Current Design Thermoformed Composite System Oracle GTS Touring kayak is currently for sale.  See link below for more details.

Contact me when you see this Ted! Thanks!

Ted's Oracle is a very nice boat.  You'll enjoy it.  It's not fiberglass but it does move well, takes a good beating, and can haul all your gear.

If that doesn't work for you, I know someone who is selling a Seda Glider and a QCC, I believe both are kevlar.  The QCC is listed on paddling.net.  The boats are used but in great shape.  The seller is very motivated.  He bought them, they didn't fit him well, and now he decided to sell them.

Still, look at Ted's boat first.  Less maintenance on the poly boats, but they are heavier.  Then again, coming off a Hobie, you may find it light.  : )

Well I tried out Ted's oracle and didn't quite fit in it. Apparently I need a high volume yak. The search continues!!!!
