Everglades Exploration Network

I was down in the Park last Sunday and I'm happy to report that all water trails are back to their normal levels. So are the skeeters! Water depth over the limestone at Pahayokee is at 3"-6", almost high enough for skiffing. If the daily rains keep up I'm expecting to put the skiff into the sawgrass over the July 4 weekend and head out into the big, wet frying pan that is the Shark River Slough in summer.
