Eternally unanswered questions of great interest to me . . . .

Always have certain questions that I'd like to have answered but am unable to find in books or other conventional source materials. For instance: I understand that the bite of a cottonmouth moccasin could not cause much damage to an alligator because of the toughness of its scutes, but what if the alligator grabbed and swallowed the cottonmouth, and inside the gator's mouth, the snake bit the soft tissue and injected venom. Would that then be possible of killing the alligator? . . . .

As far as I know alligators are not immune to snake poison.
