I thought you were going to post the Collier-Dade Jet Port.  There is an airport in a swamp.  10,500' E-W  oriented runway 40 miles west of Miami International.  Way out there.

Not the Jetport D lol.  I dont think its A or B either. Could it be one of these?  http://www.bigcypressswamp.com/stories/camps.htm

No, not on that list.  Here's a hint.  This photo is of Little Deer.

Lots of them out there.  Some are now overgrown with trees.

Is there a camp there?  Ah I see you said Little Deer. Cool pic.  Even the trails are disappearing.

Popenhagers?  Not my pic from eBay... its on 2nd page http://www.bigcypressswamp.com/stories/camp2.htm

I agree, the photo I posted two above is of Little Deer, not Popenhagers.  Here's the link to Popenhagers: http://www.gohydrology.org/2012/02/airstrip-in-swamp.html

Looks different at ground level than from the air.

It does, but you can see how open Popenhagers is in the ground photo.  Looks like a neat spot, although I've never been (other than flying over it).
