We are seeing more and more Diamondbacks these days. I believe its because the wild hogs are gone.  Hogs eat snakes, panthers eat hogs. The balance of nature. We are also seeing wild turkeys again in the Loop for the same reason.   Turkeys nest on the ground and hogs eat anything they can find.
