Any guesses on Florida's average
daytime high and nighttime low
for the month of February?
Here's a map that shows:

LOL. I was in a T shirt today. The sun was high in the sky and the warmth of it reflected off the...snow..nicely.
It was 28 for a high. Overheating is actually a major concern for us Northerners engaged in outdoor activity. Sweat is the enemy. Heat management in the winter is a big challenge. Not keeping warm..keeping from sweating. Stopping for lunch outdoors can lead to chills if your clothing is damp..then it is very hard to warm up again.
Time to step outside to look at the night sky again. It's really a pleasant night. Clear and starry and windless and six.
However at the end of this week here it will be over seventy. UGH. That will turn the lake into a morass of wet snow and the yard the same. Not to speak of dirt roads..mud season is ugly.
Time to go back to Florida. We had freezing weather there in January and maybe I can bring some back.
Good description and interesting cautionary tale. It's an art form being able to effectively (and sustainably) work in the outdoors, especially in the extremes.
