Gill Rattle Creek

Location: Blackwater River to Buttonwood Bay, Ten Thousand Island National Wildlife Refuge
The creek intersects Blackwater River at marker 18 and the northwest corner of Buttonwood
Bay. Shown on NOAA Nautical Chart 11430 it's on the route from Tiger/Picnic Keys to
Collier Seminole State Park.
Condition: The entire Buttonwood Bay area is very shallow to no water at low tide. Gill Rattle
Creek is open but only passable at higher tides.
