There are questions of passage ways and trails "lost" historically that members wish to rediscover.

There are predecessors who explored what fires our imaginations...before GPS, Google and Sat images.

Perhaps this can be a forum to post that information?

These maps are circa 1873 and were obtained from a professor at FAU who is studying the historic flows of surface water.

I won't forget talking to my future wife's Grandfather (b1902) in 1991 in Charleston and discussing our plans to move to Fort Lauderdale. "Fort Lauderdale....hmmm...I think that is between Palm Beach and Miama.  It's a little place.  Went through there on the train to Miama in the early '20's...not much there as I remember.."
