What's the best way
to stay cool in the swamp?

a. Always have cold water handy
b. Stay in the shade as much as possible
c. Don't physically over exert yourself

I would rather wear cotton water soaked clothing. Evaporative cooling still works in the Everglades winds in the winter.. probably not so well in the more humid summer.  EC is a staple of desert dwellers to this day,

Ha ha.. I am wearing fleece tonight.Its 49 degrees and raining.

True, it can get amazingly cold in the summer if you get soaked (and bone numbingly so if you also happen to be in an airboat).
