Great photos. You have added an access port in the front bulkhead. Does it add any appreciable function?

Hi Jeremy. I installed the front bulkhead hatch because my boat originally came with only a tiny VCP hatch to access a lot of space. This way I was able to slide long items like folding chairs, tripods, etc into the hatch through the cockpit. This worked well as long as I was next to the boat, like on land at a beach. From the height of chickee platform this was really tough, so what you see in the pic is a much larger oval front hatch that I since glassed in. Problem solved!

Fyi, the bulkhead hatch also allows storing and transporting one piece paddles (Greenland sticks) inside the boat!
