Location: All the waterways between Watson River Chickee and Shark River Chickee.
As the name implies the area is obvious when view on NOAA Nautical Chart 11433.

Condition: I have canoed numerous routes, east and west of an imaginary line between the
two chickees in the last 33 years and have found every path with plenty of deep water
and openness. The Labyrinth is more of a maze of waterways as opposed to the
islands and bays of the Hells/Lane/Pearl Bay area. The nautical chart of the Labyrinth
is perfect, trust it, and it seems no matter what you do in it everything leads to
Shark River if you're headed northwest and Watson River Chickee if you're headed
southeast. It's a great place to sharpen your navigational skills, without the danger
of lost time backtracking.

The Labyrinth was quite enjoyable, lots of redfish back in there during the cold fronts and like Terry mentioned all roads seem to lead to Rome, we navigated with maps close at hand only because we had limited sunlight left and could not afford to backtrack. This is a much better alternative to paddling down the Shark River.

Paddled thru this area last week (3-4 Jan) en route from Shark chickee to Watson chickee .  I had allowed 4 hours per Molloy's book, but saw the Bay open-up ahead of me after only 2, so I wound back around through some of the little creeks that only showed-up as fine lines on the chart and had a great time.  I still arrived at Watson chickee right after lunch, so left my heavier gear on the chickee and paddled a couple hours up Watson Creek and back and even had time for a sunset paddle out into the Bay when the wind died-down.
