Dale, don't you work for FWC? That's state, not federal so you shouldn't be affected if there is a shutdown.

Yes but I think I am living on Federal land and I work in a Federal building. I am not sure if hunting will be allowed to continue if there is a shutdown.  But if campers are allowed to stay, I will be too.

The ENP and BCNP are both closed as of today. Hunting is closed. Campgrounds are closed. Existing campers must leave but they may have 48 hours. Gates will be locked.  Private land owners with hunt camps are permitted access through the Preserve. I am out of work until further notice. I have not yet been asked to vacate so I plan on staying.. I may be considered a temporary resident.

Down our way, turning the L-67 south, blowing out parts of the L-29 (the levy on the norths ide of the trail).
