Everglades Exploration Network

Spring is in the air as more birds can be seen nesting, the best time to be in the Everglades!  For an account of one of the rookeries, I've posted recent photos and blog and will continue to do for the next few months. Babies should be coming soon. Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing these pelican photos!
Very nice photos.....birds are in the rookery....and the Bald Cypress aren't bald.  Wish my hair would come back in the Spring!

I'm really glad I planned a "late" trip this year.  Looking to the cypress leafing out and the bird activity.  Now if it were just a tad cooler.. Stopped in Jacksonville to acclimatize. 83 degrees. The numbers are right but in the wrong order and the minus sign is missing.  Came down last week and the temp at home was -11.

Beautiful pictures!
