"My experience a couple of weeks ago was the tide was running in strongly on Tarpon.. Estimated about two mph.. it was making whirlpools.  There had been quite a wind from the east the day before."

Actually haven't had time to get cabin fever. Al and I just got back the day the cold ended and the rain started. If you ever worry about hurricanes, ice storms, earth quakes what have you just contact me and see if I'm in your town. If I'm there you are safe, if I'm not there you are in trouble. I never get to see weather at its worst. Kim I appreciate the heads up on the Nomad/Vagabond molds. Hopefully by 2011 I will be able to "afford" a new solo canoe :-)

Meanwhile.....do you give classes when you get down here to South FL? Make some money while at Collier Seminole. I'll pay you for a couple hours of paddling critique.
