Not November but October 2012 !
We're going to use high water to it's fullest next season with
back to back, every Saturday trips guaranteed to excite the
deepest deep backcountry paddler with unimaginable routes.
Clear your October calendar and stay tuned.
I've camped there in June & August, the only bugs encountered were launching out of Flamingo. After that the coast was clear!
but that's the beauty of these high chickees.. there's always a breeze!
I'll be down there midweek the first week of June. If I see a bunch of hammocks strewn about I'll drop by with some cold beer and hopefully a redfish fillet!
From your lips to God's ears. I need more weekend days every weekend. Ay ya yay.
Check! Calendar will be cleared accordingly. You know I'm hooked on you guys. Unlike some, I will paddle in my bug suit in the heat of the summer just to get to those oh so special places we all love so dearly.
You betcha! October, November, December... need I say more? Come to Virginia Key on Sunday for a cookout, for fun race (watch people capsize as they try to barrel race, BBQ. Open invitation to all paddle crafts and paddlers. We hope the weather will cooperate.
Now that sounds like a plan!
True, it's not what you expect. Plus you can always go for a swim if it gets too warm.
Flex, We're on for the 19th, right?
I had a couple jump into my canoe on the Bear Lake trail. Next time then. ; )
