   Allison and I were in the Glades around Christmas this year and were in for a little surprise. Around 3 in the morning the tide came up through the limestone. Hi Rob!  I started at the beginning of Dorsey's series and I got through the first book and 3/4 of the second and said I don't think I really like this.  Glad that you concur that starting from the beginning is sort of a turn off.  I would really like to read the book that you described.  Can you remember the title?  I may give the books another chance when I'm more "in the mood" for them.  Happy trails!

Atkinson Traveler ... I looked your canoe up just to see what it looked like... Wow!  What a beauty!  It must be a real pleasure to paddle!  I had a Grumman many years ago...they certainly will take a beating.  Have a nice trip...it was nice chatting with you!  Thanks for responding.

Charlie Creek after Irma

I was talking to a Kayak guide and he said the mouth of Charlie Creek is blocked. He said that fishing guides told him it is blocked also which I took to mean Gopher Creek above Gopher Key. I'm not sure if I got that part right or not.
