Groundhog Day is a huge celebration up north,
But down in Florida it passes with hardly a peep.

Can you guess why?

a. Floridians really don't want winter to end
b. Florida winter is too warm for thickly-pelted groundhog
c. Groundhog would always see shadow, thus taking away the suspense
d. Burmese pythons would eat the groundhogs
e. c and d only
f. all of the above

F all of the above  lol

F - all the way!

Correct!

c is definitely incorrect. Groundhog would always see shadow, therefore you would have six more weeks of winter?  LOL...do you even have ONE week of winter ?  (Yes it did get to the low 40;s but that is not winter).

We have six more weeks of winter. For the season total that will make six weeks and three days.  Whoopee. Haven't even beein skiing yet.

It's been a snowless (and mild) winter in the continental USA, but hasn't Seattle gotten a lot of snow?  -- And Alaska's been in a deep freeze.  Also, western Europe has been very very cold.  In Naples, less than 10 days have seen daytime lows below 70 degrees.  Last year there were 30 such days and 40 the year before.

I think our cold weather is yet to come in February. I cant believe we skipped winter this year. I hope its not the effects of Global Warming.
