For as many "real" apple snail shells I run into in the swamp, more and more the snail kite is resorting to the "fakes." Now, if I could only find a "live" apples snail! http://www.gohydrology.org/2012/02/snail-kite-escargot.html

Hey Robert. I recognize the location before I read it. There is a pretty little oak hammock behind you. One day I leaned against the tree and fell asleep. It looks as if the water is high. Did you walk all the way or canoe around?
