Hey everyone I just got my first canoe after having a kayak for many years. It is an Indian River 19 foot double, with a keel. I am wondering about what kind of rigs you all have put on yours. It is fiberglass so I don't want to damage the hull. Anyone want to post pictures and share what kind of things they have done for fishing, photography, storage, and others? Thanks!

Probably not unless you run over oyster bars to even them out..I'm.now ducking.

In big shallow waters delta shaped canoes (from above they look long and skinny in the bow..an elongated triangle, and a shorter triangle in the back ) make better speed. Since yours is not in that category but you have had a great time..keep having fun!

Here is a little bit on fixing polyethlyene boats. I have heard of people melting Legos and dabbing melted Lego in.. I have not tried it!

Thanks for the repair guide. I've sent the serial number to Old Town to obtain the canoe hull material type.
