Charley Creek has been open in about the same condition since I've been

using it in the 1970's.   As popular as it is it will be passable.

oh, thanks. someone had mentioned downed trees or something. and last time i was in that neighborhood the water levels were really low on the other side. thanks.

Where exactly is Charley Creek?

Ah, disregard my last question. I found it.

Dallas,

Below is a link of a trip that Flex and I did in April of this year that included Charley Creek.  The creek for me was the best part of the trip.

Cool, thanks!

again, cool photos. darwin's is always really buggy...

I can confirm that Charley Creek was wide open from the Gulf to Pelican Bay for several sea kayaks on Feb. 1, 2014 at high tide.

thanks ross!

I can confirm that CC was open on Feb 3.  We were able to enter from the Gulf 1.5 hours after dead low tide on a low but rising tide.  No difficulties even with my Monarch..17 foot 3 inches.
