Last year I spotted a group of pigs on the west bank of the Lostman's River - they're still out there.
Other than a few rumored sightings, the wild hogs of DeSoto's expeditions have been eliminated in the BCNP. Its a shame in my opinion as they have lived here in the swamps longer than the Seminole Indians. Its good to hear they are hanging on in the mangroves and islands of ENP. Im rooting for their survival.
