"Randy Personally I am not sure, but I doubt it is open enough to paddle... there is not much reason to keep it clear. I would bet that trying to work through would be life threatening this time of year due to the bugs. I do believe that the larger…"

St. Mary's Cathedral?

I was looking at the new to me mapbook for ENP athttps://www.nps.gov/ever/learn/management/upload/EVER_Mapbook_compendiumFloridaBay03062017.pdfIf you look at tile 2, it suggests there is a hiking trail that starts at Mrazek Pond and travels east to just below the SW corner of West Lake. The area is labeled as "St. Mary's Cathedral".I've never heard of that before, and a Google search…See More

Hi Gary,

You can email me at robert.v.sobczak@gmail.com

Not sure if you're a novel reader, but you might enjoy the new book that I co-wrote:

The Legend of Campfire Charlie:

Celebrating the 100th Birthday of America's National Parks

By Robert V. Sobczak and Rudi Heinrich.

I think you might enjoy - it's funny - and fast paced - and right up your alley.

It's available in Kindle format, but if you go to amazon you can download it on any mobile device (i.e. ipad, phone, laptop).  Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/Legend-Campfire-Charlie-Celebrating-Birthday-ebook/dp/B01ED79KP6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1465674791&sr=8-1&keywords=the+legend+of+campfire+charlie

Regards,

Bob
